2018 Year in Review | Olympia WA Family Photographer

2018 was a year of growth, both personally and for my business. We brought one of our children home from public school and I’m re-learning how to balance my business, while also having a little one working alongside me.

In the spring, I expanded in a few different directions. I began teaching Food as Art, an online food photography class through Illuminate (registration for the February class happens to be open right now!)…and also working with other businesses to create content for their online presence. It’s been so rewarding to help others and watch them grow in their art.

I had the pleasure of serving both new and returning families through image making. It’s always such an honor to be invited into the homes and intimate spaces of others…I can’t thank these families enough for trusting me. If you’re thinking about a family session, or documentary birth in 2019, I’m now booking. These sessions take place in your home or at a location that’s meaningful to you. They’re always relaxed and you receive a great big gallery of pictures that truly represent the season you’re in. Here are a few favorites from this year…
