Nuptial | Phil + Jen | Nevada City Wedding Photographer

Tradition. Tranquility. Celebration. From a Catholic Mass, to champagne in the sun drenched woods, and then a vibrant fiesta…this August day was bursting with life.

The morning started within four cozy walls of the Two Room Inn with Jen’s sisters by her side. Phil and his guys spent a leisurely morning just down Broad Street, at the National.

The ceremony was intimate and St. Canice held their closest friends and family. Some had traveled overseas to witness the union of two very special souls.

A fiesta followed. Every inch rich with color and no corner, or stone wall of the Miner’s Foundry was left untouched. With each paper flower formed, silver and gold egg filled with confetti, and every detail made by the hands of the bride and groom, it was a work of love.

Over and over again I found myself smiling right along side their family and friends. They spoke of the way she loves her groom, and how she’s the other half to him. A perfect match. It’s an honor to document. To story tell through images, so they can relive all the incredible, contagious joy. For years.
